AsianAqua-2018 is the first of the biennial conferences organised by AIT in Thailand to showcase the progress of sustainable Asian aquaculture as a trendsetter for the world. Thailand is the natural venue for such a conference as the country has a well organised aquaculture and fisheries sector and several emerging sustainable practices.
AsianAqua-2018 will be held at the Robert B. Banks Auditorium of Asian Institute of Technology Conference Centre (AITCC) Hotel, located in the AIT campus at Pathumthani in Thailand. AIT is about 40 km away from Bangkok city and is well connected to the world, and has excellent facilities for such events.
The Asian Institute of Technology (www.ait.ac.th) is an international postgraduate academic and research organisation based in Thailand with a truly multinational and multicultural learning environment, supported by a vast network of over 23,000 highly successful alumni worldwide. AIT’s Aquaculture and Aquatic Resources Management (AARM) Academic Program is the organiser of this event.
